Bill O’Reilly Advised Trump To Stop Talking About Epstein During Last Minute Call

Bill O’Reilly revealed that he advised President Donald Trump on multiple issues, including Jeffrey Epstein, in a last minute phone call.

On O’Reilly’s No Spin News, the former Fox News host said he told Trump to stop talking about Epstein and laid out how Attorney General Pam Bondi should be responding to backlash.

O’Reilly said the president called him on Thursday just 30 seconds before O’Reilly was appearing on NewsNation. After trying to call Trump back later, O’Reilly received a call on Friday morning where they discussed China and the calls for more Epstein documents to be released.

“I gave the president my view of how to handle it. Pretty much what I told you guys. Don’t talk about it. Get Bondi, the Justice Department, in a methodical way to explain what’s going on,” O’Reilly said.

Epstein died of an apparent suicide in 2019 while being charged with sex trafficking. A Department of Justice/FBI memo was released earlier this month dumping cold water on theories about a high profile client list with names of people who took part in alleged abuse. It also concluded Epstein committed suicide. Major MAGA voices have since demanded for the release of more Epstein documents, while Trump has called a client list a “hoax” and blasted his own supporters on the issue.

Bondi made reference to an Epstein list sitting on her desk in February, leading to MAGA critics targeting her position in the administration.

On Friday, O’Reilly recalled attending Trump’s wedding to ex-wife Marla Maples and Epstein was in attendance. The president and late billionaire were formerly friends. O’Reilly dismissed the emphasis critics have put on the past relationship, arguing many successful New Yorkers ran in crowds that included Epstein.

“I went to Trump’s wedding with Marla Maples. Epstein was at that wedding. I didn’t know him. I don’t know who he was. Tons of people at the wedding. But when you know the history of New York City and that all these people intertwined, all these wealthy people, I wasn’t wealthy. Trump just liked me. Comic relief, I guess,” he said. “But I understand the culture. And just because you knew somebody doesn’t mean you were involved with some kind of nefarious activity. Come on, that’s just insane.”

He added that Trump also denied a report from The Wall Street Journal claiming he authored a note sent to Epstein in 2003 for his birthday. The note reportedly included a sketch of a naked woman and ended with the line, “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Trump has already publicly denied authoring the message and he’s sued the Journal over its reporting. O’Reilly said he believes the denial from his “friend” because he’s never “lied” to him in 30-plus years.

“So I gave him, you know, look, this is what it is,” he said. “And he told me, boy, I didn’t send that card and I didn’t — okay. Guy’s never lied to me. 33 years.”
