Charlie Sheen Reveals Government Scolding To Tucker Carlson Over His Team-Up With Alex Jones On ‘9/11 Files’

Charlie Sheen revealed to Tucker Carlson that he got a quick scolding from a White House official after he teamed up with InfoWars founder Alex Jones to get the “9/11 files” released.

Sheen joined The Tucker Carlson Show where Carlson at one point asked about the actor famously questioning the official account of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Sheen’s conspiracy theories on the matter led him to link up with Jones and in 2009 Sheen published a fictional interview with then-President Barack Obama centered around 9/11.

Sheen explained to Carlson that he and Jones decided to not reveal that the 20-question interview was fictional until after it had been up for 20 minutes.

“We let it kind of marinate for about 20 minutes before we added, ‘the following didn’t actually take place, but we’re hoping one day that it could or that it might,'” Sheen said. “So we did let, kind of, the hysteria build a little bit.”

Sheen then claimed that then-White House Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton called him over the interview.

“He called me and I said, ‘hey, thank you!’ And he’s like, ‘yeah, that thing that you and your buddy wrote, that meeting you’re looking for, never gonna happen,'” Sheen said. “Those were his words. Never gonna happen. I said, ‘well, that’s a shame because it really should.’ He said, ‘yeah, alright, good luck to you, have a nice day.'”

Check out the exchange below:

CHARLIE SHEEN: So we published it online and we let it kind of marinate for about 20 minutes before we added, “the following didn’t actually take place, but we’re hoping one day that it could or that it might.” So we did let, kind of, the hysteria build a little bit that people thought, holy hell, man, did Sheen and Obama — did this thing actually happen? Because we didn’t want to prejudice it with it being a work of fiction right from send. It was a little bit of a manipulation, but so what?

TUCKER CARLSON: Did anyone from the Obama White House reach out to you?

SHEEN: There was a guy. He was the deputy press secretary. His name was Bill something.

CARLSON: Bill Burton?

SHEEN: Yes! Yeah, he called me.

CARLSON: I got the memory.

SHEEN: Well done! Because I knew his name was the same two initials. Yeah, he called me. I said, “hey, thank you!” And he’s like, “yeah, that thing that you and your buddy wrote, that meeting you’re looking for, never gonna happen.” Those were his words. Never gonna happen. I said, “well, that’s a shame because it really should.” He said, “yeah, alright, good luck to you, have a nice day.” It was like a 14-second phone call.
