Christie Will Make First Late Night Appearance Since Bridgegate
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie used to be a regular guest on late night TV. He’s been on with Jimmy Fallon, Jon Stewart, and David Letterman. But ever since BridgeGate, Christie might not have received that warm of a reception from the comics who’ve been mercilessly roasting him. Well, this week Christie will make his first return to the late night fray since the scandal broke with Fallon on Thursday night.
Fallon, of course, roasted Christie by bringing on Bruce Springsteen, one of Christie’s idols, for a skit lampooning the Bridgegate scandal; a skit that Christie reportedly could not bring himself to watch.
But hopefully things’ll all be good now and they can settle things with a friendly arm wrestling match.
