CNN And Fox Carry Joe Biden’s Invocation, MSNBC’s Chris Hayes Talks Over it
During Vice President Joe Biden‘s early morning inauguration Sunday, the three major political news networks were all buzzing with coverage. Hayes, on the other hand, proceeded to explain the historic nature of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor swearing in the vice president as well as why the ceremony was taking place on a Sunday – it’s constitutionally mandated to be on January 20th and Sotomayor was the first hispanic woman to preside. In doing so, however, Hayes missed showing his viewers the entire invocation.
