Duck Dynasty Star Endorses Republican Who Hasn’t Announced Yet

Before he even announced his (very likely) presidential campaign, Gov. Bobby Jindal got the coveted Duck Dynasty endorsement.

During a Monday appearance on Fox News Radio’s Kilmeade and Friends, the A&E reality show’s star Willie Robertson and his wife, Korie, explained that their support in “the 2016 presidential primaries is firmly behind the Louisiana Republican, should he choose to enter the race.

“Bobby is a great man, he’s a godly man,” the reality star explained. “If he chooses to go on, I know the values he has. I’m the kind of guy who really likes smart people… and that guy’s one of the smartest people I’ve ever met.”

He concluded: “He’s got the values, he’s got the intelligence to do it.” Korie noted that Jindal’s wife, Supriya, is “beautiful and brilliant.”

The Robertson family is based out of Louisiana, and has previously extended support to Republican politicians from that state. The Robertson family’s main patriarch, Phil Robertson, recently spoke at the 2015 Conservative Political Action Conference.
