Former DNC Chair Donna Brazile is speaking out about her new book this morning on ABC’s This Week.
And right off the bat, George Stephanopoulos asked her about the revelation she thought about replacing Hillary Clinton with Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee after she fainted.
He told Brazile that she did not have “the power on your own” to change up the ticket.
“I had to put it on the table, George,” she said, “because I was under tremendous pressure after Secretary Clinton fainted to have a ‘Plan B.’ I didn’t want a Plan B. Plan A was great for me. I supported Hillary and I wanted her to win, but we were under pressure.”
