Fox Business’ Trish Regan Says Heckling of Jim Acosta is ‘Not Right’: He’s ‘Just Doing His Job’
Jim Acosta should not be heckled. Sarah Huckabee Sanders should not be heckled. This not the America I know and love. We have always had a certain kind of respect for the other side’s opinion. That doesn’t exist right now and that’s very dangerous. pic.twitter.com/VgdYPmurbX

Fox Business host Trish Regan knocked supporters of President Donald Trump for showing “bad manners” in heckling CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta at a South Carolina rally yesterday.
Regan went on the following monologue about civility on today’s airing of The Intelligence Report:
“CNN’s White House correspondent Jim Acosta being heckled at a Trump rally in South Carolina last night — heard the crowd chanting, ‘Go home, Jim!’ Not right, not right. They may disagree with some of Acosta’s reporting, but, you know, Jim Acosta is just doing his job. He’s out there reporting on the rally, and not only is it bad manners, it’s bad form to attack him. I say this because I’m very concerned about the state in which we now live, where there is a complete, total lack of civility.”
The host continued by saying that this uncivil discourse “goes for both sides right now” and pointed to White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders being asked to leave a restaurant as evidence that the left is not civil.
“What has happened to us? Who are we right now?” Regan asked. “This is not the America I know and love, we have always had a certain kind of respect for the other sides’ opinion — that does not exist right now, and that’s very dangerous.”
