Fox News Starts Week With Another Victory Over Competitors Combined

Cable news ratings, August 17, 2009: Check out the highlights, and see the full ratings below:

• Continuing a trend started last week, Fox News beat CNN, MSNBC, HLN and CNBC combined in total viewers and the A25-54 demographic last night during prime time. It also topped the foursome in total day total viewers.

• MSNBC’s repeats at 10pmET and 11pmET topped CNN’s line-up at those hours in both total viewers and the A25-54 demo last week – and that continued Monday as well. Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow‘s repeats beat Anderson Cooper 360 live at 10pmET and in his repeat.

• The top non-FNC show last night was Maddow’s in the demo and Olbermann’s in total viewers.

• CNN’s Lou Dobbs had a solid night, finishing 2nd (well behind FNC’s Shepard Smith) in both categories at 7pmET.
