GOP Senator Pans Trump Presser in Text to CNN: ‘He Should Do This With a Therapist’
Following a bizarre and contentious hour-long press conference, a Republican Senator vented to CNN’s John King in a text message implying President Donald Trump needed psychiatric help.
“I got a text from a couple of Democrats during the thing, who of course are not inclined to like him,” King said Thursday, “But I got a text from a Republican senator who said in this text, ‘He should do this with a therapist, not on live television.’”
King never named the senator, but hinted later in the program that he was a critic of Donald Trump’s from very early on. Unfortunately for the anonymous senator, Trump has already indicated his wariness of psychiatry.
It makes me feel so good to hit “sleazebags” back — much better than seeing a psychiatrist (which I never have!)
