Here’s the Schedule for Tonight’s CBS Democratic Debate
Face The Nation host John Dickerson and CBS’ Nancy Cordes are the co-moderators for tonight’s Democratic Debate on CBS, joined by Kathie Obradovich and Kevin Cooney, which kicks of at 9 p.m. EST. Broadcast live from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, it is the second official debate for the Democratic party in this primary season.
The candidates debating will be former Secretary of State and current frontrunner Hillary Clinton, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, and former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley. Previous candidates Jim Webb and Lincoln Chafee have both suspended their campaigns since the last Democratic debate in Las Vegas on CNN last month.
Sanders’ lead strategist Tad Devine said recently, “I do expect [this one] to be a debate that has more focus on Iowa.” The official Twitter hashtag to join in on the conversation through social media is #DemDebate.
