President Trump attacked the press again today, this time in response to what he deemed fake news from NBC, and CNN’s Jake Tapper hit back hard in the opening minute of his show today.

Trump blasted NBC News for a report saying he wants a tenfold increase in the U.S.’ nuclear arsenal, and even threatened punitive action.

But later in the day, the President actually said, “It’s frankly disgusting the way the press is able to write whatever they want to write, and people should look into it.”

Tapper said he did, and this is what he found:

“You might want to start looking into it too, Mr. President,” Tapper concluded.
