Joe Scarborough Mocks Megyn Kelly’s Outfit
On Wednesday evening, Fox News star Megyn Kelly appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and relayed a hilariously awkward story about her first encounter with President Barack Obama. MSNBC host Joe Scarborough took notice of the interview, but his first thought was not about the contents within.
The Morning Joe host tweeted on Friday morning a photograph of Kelly’s dress from the Kimmel appearance, which revealed a little bit of cleavage:
Amazing coincidence here. Eric Sevareid wore the same outfit this day in 1941 reporting on RAFs raid of French port. pic.twitter.com/bke1lfrsvz

The commentary here being that Kelly’s outfit makes it hard to take her as seriously as legendary CBS reporter Sevareid — one of “Murrow’s Boys” — when he reported on the Royal Air Force’s raid on Nazi-occupied France in 1941.
Of course, one Twitter user offered a stern rebuttal in picture form:

UPDATE — 12:21 p.m. ET: His next tweet:
Follow up on earlier tweet re Eric Severeid. The sweater I wore this morning has some of the same oatmeal on it that Mr Severeid ate in '41.
