Joe Scarborough Shreds MAGA’s Epstein ‘Whitewash’ After Pedophile Conspiracy ‘Obsession’
Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough shredded MAGA for what he called a “whitewash” of convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein after years of making elite pedophile ring conspiracy theories their “singular obsession.”
The takedown came one day after a press conference with Epstein survivors hosted by Reps. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Ro Khanna (D-CA) as they mount a rare bipartisan push to compel the Justice Department to release “the Epstein files.”
Massie has filed a discharge petition to force a vote, and Khanna has predicted that every Democrat and at least a handful of Republicans will sign on.
Scarborough unloaded on Thursday morning after rolling back a clip of House Speaker Mike Johnson from Tuesday, insisting that Trump wants all the Epstein documents “out there.”
The host slammed that take as just “not true” before blasting Trump, and then his supporters, for their past demand for accountability while now ripping Epstein as a “Democratic hoax”:
It’s just not true. [Trump’s] saying it’s not even real. He’s saying it’s a Democratic hoax. He was before he was blaming it on previous administrations. He’s blaming it on [Barack] Obama. It all happened during his administration. He’s blaming it on [Joe] Biden. It all happened during his first administration.
And so you look at all of this and it’s again, the irony, the irony that this movement that would find rando Hollywood stars and just call them pedophiles because they voted for Democrats and they would find random public figures – and, you know, they’ve spent 20 years calling these people pedophiles, and now you’ve got a group of people in that same movement trying to whitewash probably the greatest pedophile of the 21st century… as far as, you know, a public figure moving among the rich and the powerful among royalty.
And now they’re saying, ‘Oh, everything’s out there’ or ‘this is a hoax’ How rich!

What I don’t understand is, again, think back to Pizzagate, where, again, this movement started a lie that Hillary Clinton was part of a pedophile ring. And a guy comes down and he shoots up a pizza joint, and then he’s like, ‘Oh my god, it was all a lie.’
Think about, you know, they even, over the past several years, they had movies celebrating guys that would go down and, you know, bust up pedophile rings. So after they did some research, found out weren’t the best guys in the world.
But it was like this singular obsession, right? They would call out Hollywood stars like Tom Hanks. They would call out Oprah. They would call out these wild, you know, and the conspiracy theories about pedophilia.
Now they have it right in front of their face, and: ‘We’re not interested anymore. Let’s move on. This is a Democratic hoax.’
