Jon Stewart: ‘Congress Is the Sharknado 2 of Government’

Jon Stewart couldn’t believe that Congress is going on vacation without dealing with some of the most important issues of the day. But failing to do their jobs doesn’t make Congress horrible, because as Stewart explained, “Congress is the Sharknado 2 of government. Of course it sucked. It was supposed to suck.”

Obama mocked the Republican lawsuit against President Obama and called “bullshit” on one Republican saying they would be doing the same if a Republican president did the same thing. Because, as Stewart argued, one kinda did and the GOP said nothing.

And the cries of tyranny rang a bit hollow to Stewart, who mockingly agreed, “The only way to depose a tyrant is via a civil lawsuit.”
