Lindsey Graham Calls the U.N. ‘The Most Anti-Semitic Body on the Planet’ After General Assembly Votes for Ceasefire Resolution

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) slammed the United Nations, calling it “the most anti-Semitic body on the planet” after the U.N. General Assembly called for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas War.

On Monday’s Hannity, Graham recounted in graphic terms the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks carried out by Hamas against Israel in which 1,400 people were killed and more than 200 were abducted. In response, Israel has waged an air and ground campaign against Gaza, which is governed by Hamas. The ongoing war has prompted concerns about massive civilian casualties in the small, but densely populated area of 2.3 million people, roughly half of whom are children.

“Hamas outdid the Nazis,” Graham said of Oct. 7.

The senator told Sean Hannity that the U.S. should warn Iran – which supports Hamas – if it, or any of its proxies continue to attack U.S. military bases in the Middle East, the U.S. must put them “out of the oil business.”

“Israel, take all the time you need and do whatever it takes to destroy Hamas,” Graham said, scoffing at the idea of a ceasefire. “That’s non-negotiable for me.”

Graham went on to say, “Weakness breeds more aggression.” He then slammed the U.N. Security Council, which on Monday discussed a similar resolution.

On Friday the General Assembly overwhelmingly passed a non-binding resolution calling for a “humanitarian truce.” The vote was 120 in favor and 14 against. Fifty-five countries abstained. On Monday, the U.N. Security Council met to discuss a similar resolution.

“Let me just tell you about the U.N. right now,” he said. “It is the most anti-Semitic body on the planet. To ask Israel to have a ceasefire after their people were slaughtered more viscously than the Nazis, having children beheaded, women raped in front of their parents – the U.N. is wrong. Here is when we’ll have a ceasefire – when Hamas ceases to be a threat to Israel. Then and only then will we have a ceasefire.”
