O’Reilly Lambastes Conservative Activist for Harassing Clinton over Benghazi

Conservative activist Jason Mattera thought it would be fun last week to hilariously troll Hillary Clinton about the fact that a friend of hers died in Benghazi under her watch. But the confrontation was so wrong and disturbing that Bill O’Reilly tonight scolded Mattera for using Benghazi for this kind of “cheap stunt.”

Mattera tracked down Clinton on her book tour and asked her to make the dedication out to Christopher Stevens, a friend of Clinton’s and the U.S. ambassador in Libya who died in the Benghazi attack two years ago. Clinton handled it calmly and Mattera kept getting in Clinton’s face by throwing her “what difference does it make?” back at her before security confronted him.

O’Reilly said, “Using a horrendous act of terror to make a political point, unacceptable.” He and Martha MacCallum piled on Mattera for this “thoughtless” stunt, and O’Reilly pointed out that it actually hurts conservatives to be doing “cheap stuff” like this.
