Stewart Goes Off: If Only FIFA Was a Big Bank, They’d Get Away with It

Jon Stewart opened tonight’s Daily Show going after FIFA over the corrupt behavior its top officials have been indicted on. “Finally,” Stewart said, “soccer is getting its perp walk.”

He made some soccer jokes, asked what the hell took so long for people to finally get indicted, and even jokingly asked if “their balls were underinflated.”

But what really bothered Stewart is this: “What would have happened to these FIFA scoundrels if they were bankers?” He immediately answered his own question: they’d probably get away with it.
