Stewart Takes on Tea Party: Is There Any GOPer Conservative Enough to Satisfy You?!

Jon Stewart thought that Congress passing a budget deal would be considered a good thing, but not for conservatives, who have even been trashing Republicans for basically throwing them under the bus for a bill that’s basically “funding government at its current pathetic levels.”

Stewart mocked John Boehner‘s “awfully abrupt emotional change” going off on the tea party, as well as the conservative abandonment of Paul Ryan, who’s normally been the “golden child whose fiscal genius will lead us to the promised land.”

With Republicans primarying rather conservative Republicans and some on the right even taking on Ronald Reagan‘s conservative credentials, Stewart had only one question: “Are you kidding me?!”
