NEW POLL: Trump Once Again Tops Biden Outside the Margin of Error, On Heels of Blockbuster NY Times Poll

On the heels of a stunning New York Times poll showing former President Donald Trump with a solid lead over President Joe Biden, another poll has come out which seems to support the Times’ findings.
CBS News, on Sunday, released its latest poll showing Trump with a 4 point lead over Biden — 52-48. That result falls outside the 3.5 percent margin of error. The Times poll, out Saturday gave Trump a 5 point lead over his Democratic opponent.
In all, the poll found only 6 percent of voters believe both Trump and Biden have the necessary mental and cognitive health to serve as president. Trump has the edge in the category, as 49 percent of voters believe he has the necessary mental and cognitive health to function in the job, while only 32 percent said the same of Biden.
When asked to rate the Biden and Trump presidencies, the former commander-in-chief has a big advantage over the incumbent. Forty-six percent of likely voters rated Trump’s term as excellent or good in the CBS poll, compared to just 33 percent who believe the Biden presidency has been excellent or good.
