Another GOP Candidate Fires a Gun at Something for Campaign Ad

There have been a remarkable number of Republican campaign ads featuring guns being fired at drones or legislation or some other thing. And now Alaska Senate candidate Dan Sullivan has joined the fray, with an ad involving a gun and a very target-able television set.

Sullivan decries the negative ads “flooding into Alaska” that are being paid for by Washington special interests. And then he does this to a TV:

No, Sullivan was not attempting to mimic Elvis Presley. The GOP candidate just wants to “stop all the mudslinging from outsiders” and keep the campaign focused on the issues. Or failing that, presumably, shooting your TV sets.

And yet, no campaign ad with weaponry may ever top the FREAKIN’ CANNON.
