Barney Frank: Biden ‘Can’t Keep His Mouth Shut or His Hands to Himself’

Now that he’s not in Congress anymore, former Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA) can speak freely about his former colleagues. Today’s subject was Vice President Joe Biden. According to Frank, Biden is “talented, but lacks discipline.”

“Joe is his own worst enemy,” Frank told Larry King. “He’s a very bright guy, very good values … But he just — he can’t keep his mouth shut or his hands to himself.”

As a result of his frequent gaffes and odd gestures, Frank said, people now have a lesser “perception of his abilities.” Biden is a potential candidate for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination.

Frank has been making some interesting remarks about his former colleagues, including Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), whom Frank believes would lose credibility if she ran for president in 2016.
