Beck: Are ‘Sharptons of the World’ Responsible for WDBJ Shooter’s Thinking?
Glenn Beck thinks if the media asks about the possible tea party links of killers, it’s perfectly reasonable to ask about the links of other killers to liberal commentators.
Beck said the media shouldn’t be so focused on guns, but instead on those who are “training people” to think like victims, as the WDBJ shooter did (the phrase “professional victim” has been used to describe him).
Beck said the media’s been “stirring this crap up” by talking about what qualifies as racist “code language,” and that “this is the result.”
“When Gabby Giffords was shot,” Beck argued, “the world stopped and said, ‘Was the tea party responsible?’ No, no. Why isn’t the world stopping and asking, ‘Are the people in the media, are the Al Sharptons of the world, responsible for this kind of thinking?”
