#BlackLivesMatter Co-Founder Responds to O’Reilly: He ‘Fuels Anti-Black Racism’
One of the co-founders of the Black Lives Matter network responded today to Bill O’Reilly calling the movement radical and “fringe” last night.
O’Reilly last night focused on Black Lives Matter, said they’re funded by George Soros, and dismissed them as irrelevant and only playing to radical liberals.
Patrisse Cullors responded in an interview with HuffPost Live’s Marc Lamont Hill today, saying she was “mortified” by what O’Reilly said and that she’s gotten a “significant amount of trolls” in her feed.
“It’s pundits like him that fuel anti-black racism,” Cullors said. “It’s pundits like him that allow for folks like Dylann Roof to have more ammunition.”
She said they will hold O’Reilly accountable for his comments, while insisting that despite what O’Reilly said, they aren’t being funded by George Soros.
