Canada Defies Stereotypes in Twitter Debut

Canada has joined Twitter. No, I don’t mean the entire nation of Canada literally just realized Twitter existed and started joining it (though I wouldn’t blame you for thinking that [just kidding, Canada’s cool]), only that there is now a verified @Canada account on Twitter.

And based on its first few tweets, Canada wants to both let you know they’re aware of the stereotypes you have about them and that they will proudly defy them:
