Celebrities Show Tons of Love to Boy Who Revealed Pain of Bullying: ‘You Are an Absolute Hero’
At this point, it’s highly likely you’ve already seen the Facebook video that Kimberly Jones posted of her son Keaton sharing the pain of bullying. In the clip, which has now been viewed over 17 million times since Ms. Jones uploaded it on Friday, the young man can be seen asking his mother why kids bully.
“What’s the point of it?” he wondered aloud. “Why do you find joy in taking innocent people and finding a way to be mean to them? It’s not okay.”
Ms. Jones can be heard asking her son what other kids at school do to him, leading Keaton to tell his mother that they make fun of his nose, call him ugly and tell him he has no friends. With tears beginning to run down his face, he also said that they pour milk on him and stuff food into his clothes.
But beyond sharing the pain that bullies make him suffer through, Keaton wanted it to be known that he doesn’t think it’s right that they go after other victims. And, at the end of the video, as he struggles through his emotions, Keaton still manages to provide a word of hope to others going through bullying.
“If you are made fun of, just don’t let it bother you,” he said. “Just stay strong, I guess. It’s hard. But…it’ll probably get better one day.”
It didn’t take long for the video to make an impact. And after a while, a number of celebrities took to social media to show Keaton much love and admiration. He also received offers from athletes, sports organizations and media figures to attend games and other events.
Below is just a small sample of the inspiring messages sent Keaton’s way:

Keaton you are a handsome young man who is made in the image God. The kids that bully you are very insecure about themselves. And it’s a shame that the parents of those kids won’t be accountable for their kids actions. Keaton Jones I’m here for you buddy. Be Strong young man

Keaton Jones is welcomed down here in Houston, Texas any time. I’d love to bring him with me to a #Rockets game. It’s a shame kids have to deal with this kind of garbage, but I’m willing to bet big bucks he ends up having the last laugh in the Game of Life. https://t.co/FEvnJ3LMZf

Update; Good news, apparently some Titans and Vol players are helping Keaton. The school needs this Fixed immediately or people should be fired. If Someone sets up scholarship account for Keaton, let’s raise $. I’ll start with $10,000. $5,10,25 pp would be amazing. https://t.co/IzLGx2e9V6
