Chris Christie To Student: ‘I’m The Governor, Could You Just Shut Up For A Second?’

Another day, another incident of Chris Christie snapping at someone. This time, he was discussing a Rutgers University merger and taking questions from his listeners. After one student’s question, Christie firmly stated what his plans are — and then proceeded to call the student an “idiot.”

The student appeared to pose a question about “veteran” and “nontraditional” students South Jersey (the video is edited, so the student’s full remarks are unclear). Christie said his plans are “providing other opportunities for a bigger and better university.” He then added:

“If you decide what you want to do is put on a show today, let me tell you something, I can go back and forth with you as much as you want. And let me tell you something, after you graduate from law school, you conduct yourself like that in a court room, your rear-end’s gonna get thrown in jail, idiot.”

He then reminded us who’s in charge here: “You know, I tried to be patient with the guy. Every time I tried to answer, he started yelling over me again. Damn, man, I’m governor, could you just shut up for a second?”
