Christine Ford’s Lawyers Send Letter to FBI Director: We Offered Full Cooperation, Got ‘No Response’
The lawyers for Christine Blasey Ford have sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray asking why their client has not been interviewed for the investigation into Brett Kavanaugh.
There has been reporting on the FBI investigation that says Ford, who testified at last week’s big hearing, has not been contacted by the FBI for an interview.
In a letter to Wray and general counsel Dana Boente, Ford’s lawyers say they sent an email “offering Dr. Ford’s full cooperation” but haven’t received a response.
“It is inconceivable,” they say, “that the FBI could conduct a thorough investigation of Dr. Ford’s allegations without interviewing her, Judge Kavanaugh, or the witnesses we have identified in our letters to you.”
