Chuck Todd Rejects Drudge Accusation That He ‘Turned’ on Obama
Drudge, now-ish:

Whycome? Earlier, NBC News White House correspondent Chuck Todd told a Morning Joe panel that new NBC/WSJ poll numbers showed the public had rendered a verdict on Obama’s competency. “Essentially the public is saying, ‘Your presidency is over’ by saying a number like that,” Chuck said. It’s a ready-made pull quote, and sites like this one pulled it.
But on Twitter Todd denied that this comment meant he’d “turned” on Obama, or that analyzing entailed opinionating:
Despite what folks want to believe I said Here is fact: based on Q we asked about rest of term, maj said POTUS can't lead and get job done

Unlike some in blogosphere, I don't insert my opinions either way. So there is no "turning". I simply report and analyze.

@chucktodd Can you "analyze" without having an "opinion"?
