David Duke’s New Robocall Asks People to Support Him and Trump, Also Swipes at Beyoncé

david-dukeDo you remember how several white supremacist groups were orchestrating those pro-Donald Trump robocalls a few months ago? Well, it’s happening again, and this time they include a shot at Beyoncé.

Former KKK leader David Duke is continuing his Louisiana run for the U.S. Senate, and he’s made it perfectly clear that he’s absolutely delighted by the Republican mogul candidate. Duke praises Trump on a regular basis, and he recently celebrated how the “alt-right” movement has “taken over the Republican Party.”

Today, Buzzfeed confirmed from Duke himself that he commissioned a new robocall going around that’s asking people to vote for him and Trump. The call also swipes at Beyonce over her supposedly anti-cop performance during the Super Bowl earlier this year.

“Look at the Super Bowl salute to the Black Panther cop killers,” the call states. “It’s time to stand up and vote for Donald Trump for president and vote for me David Duke for the U.S. Senate.”

Trump’s relationship with Duke has been complicated for a long time. Whereas Duke cheerleads for Trump very frequently, the mogul prominently hedged on condemning him at first when asked about how he’s receiving support from racist nationalists.

Everything aside, it’s possible that Duke also didn’t approve of Beyonce’s VMA concert on Sunday night.

UPDATE –– 5:24 pm ET: The Trump campaign has provided this response to Mediaite:

“Mr. Trump has continued to denounce David Duke and any group or individual associated with a message of hate. There is no place for this in the Republican Party or our country. We have no knowledge of these calls or any related activities, but strongly condemn and disavow.”
