Ex-CIA Director Brennan Rips Trump on Twitter for ‘Small, Petty, and Banal’ Russia Tweet

Former CIA Director John Brennan called out President Trump on Twitter today for his tweet claiming he’s been “much tougher” on Russia than his predecessor Barack Obama.
I have been much tougher on Russia than Obama, just look at the facts. Total Fake News!

Over the past few days, following the indictments issued against Russians on Friday, the President has not criticized Russia but instead gone after the FBI, Democrats, and––most notably––Obama:
Finally, Liddle’ Adam Schiff, the leakin’ monster of no control, is now blaming the Obama Administration for Russian meddling in the 2016 Election. He is finally right about something. Obama was President, knew of the threat, and did nothing. Thank you Adam!

Thank you to @foxandfriends for the great timeline on all of the failures the Obama Administration had against Russia, including Crimea, Syria and so much more. We are now starting to win again!

Brennan called out Trump over his pettiness and “insecurity”:
It never ceases to amaze me how successful you have been making yourself so small, petty, and banal with your tweets. Your insecurity is well deserved, as is your concern over Russia investigation. Thomas Paine was right when he said, "These are the times that try men's souls." https://t.co/EfaDBlYejF

After the indictments dropped on Friday, Brennan tweeted, “Claims of a ‘hoax’ in tatters.”
