Glenn Beck Calls Romney ‘Man of Honor’ for Fessing Up About Gift Beck Sent Him
On Monday, Glenn Beck revealed he sent a rather valuable gift to Mitt Romney in 2012 and was still pissed off he never even got so much as a thank you. Well, Beck revealed today that Romney e-mailed him back to apologize, an e-mail that contained a revelation that didn’t exactly make Beck feel that much better.
Beck handed one of Romney’s sons a rare first-edition copy of George Washington‘s farewell address to give to his father. Well, after hearing Beck complain about it Monday, Romney e-mailed Beck, apologized, and admitted… he never received the gift in the first place.
Beck admitted he got really frustrated when he saw that, but at least credited Romney for being an honorable enough man to fess up, saying he must be “a man of honor to have the balls to write that” and not give some pithy excuse like Beck must have missed a note he sent or something.
