Goldie Taylor Tweets She’s Not on CNN Anymore Because Don Lemon ‘Banned’ Her
Former MSNBC contributor and CNN talking head Goldie Taylor put out a flurry of tweets — 30, to be precise — yesterday and they aimed squarely at the networks that she once frequented.
The tweetstorm came after she saw Joe Walsh on CNN days after a tweet of his that appeared to threaten President Barack Obama went viral. Don Lemon interviewed the former congressman and it was the last straw for Taylor, who is now Editor-at-Large of the Daily Beast.
Here are a few of the 30 tweets:
I woke up this morning to a see a former congressman @walshfreedom on @CNN, days after he threatened @POTUS on social media. 1/

No wonder Walsh appearing with Lemon is what finally caused her to speak up. She very, very clearly called Lemon out as the reason she no longer appears on the network. Then again, this isn’t the first time she’s been displeased with him. She once called him “a turn-coat mofo” when he agreed with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly about the causes of various struggles within the black community.
We have reached out to CNN for comment and will update this thread if we get it. For now, what do you think? Are you surprised by her accusations?
