Hannity on Health Care Bill: Not Trump’s Failure, GOP Should Have Built Consensus First
Sean Hannity opened his show tonight by saying that after 7 years of Obamacare opposition, “not getting the job done is unacceptable.”
He argued that this is not President Trump‘s failure––he “went above and beyond, did everything in his power to get this bill across the finish line”––but the failure of Republicans in Congress to build consensus between all the different factions of the party first.
Hannity ripped Democrats and the media for acting “absolutely giddy” today, saying that they will be the ones who own the “mess” that follows.
He said that next time the GOP tackles health care, they need to build consensus first so they avoid the big public fights that emerged this time around.
