Here’s How Trump and Clinton Answered the World Leader Question Gary Johnson Fumbled
How much would it blow your mind if I told you that Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump gave the same answer to the question Gary Johnson fumbled?
(Okay, maybe not the same answer, but they did say the same name.)
You may have heard that Johnson was asked a simple question yesterday about a world leader he admires and couldn’t name anyone.
Well, his two major rivals also received that same question today.
Clinton said she likes a lot of world leaders and singled out German Chancellor Angela Merkel as “an extraordinary, strong leader.”

Meanwhile, Trump was asked the same question and he also said Merkel.
This answer isn’t just odd because of how Trump immediately says he doesn’t like Merkel anymore, but because he has attacked Clinton on the campaign trail as being an American Merkel:

(Jill Stein also answered the question too, though the people she named are political leaders and not world leaders.)
