Jindal Wants In on This ‘Does Obama Love America?’ Thing Too

Rudy Giuliani said last night that President Obama doesn’t love America, and now, of course, it’s morphed into an actual issue. Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal decided to release a statement sharing his opinion on what Giuliani said.

Jindal wanted to make it clear that he has no intention of condemning what Giuliani said (though no one was really calling on him specifically to do so), and believes, “The gist of what Mayor Giuliani said––that the President has shown himself to be completely unable to speak the truth about the nature of the threats from these terrorists––is true.”

But if you want a definitive answer from Jindal on whether Obama loves America, well, like Scott Walker before him, he punted:

“The level of the president’s love for our country is immaterial at this juncture. What President Obama has obviously demonstrated for everyone is that he is incapable of successfully executing his duties as our commander in chief.”
