Kathy Griffin is apparently no longer being investigated by the Secret Service.
Griffin sparked controversy back in May when she posed in a photo shoot with a bloodied severed head of President Trump, which sparked an investigation for being a potential threat to the Commander in Chief.
On Friday, Griffin took to Twitter to announce that the “case is closed.”

“I am no longer under federal investigation,” she stated. “The case is closed, I have been completely exonerated. Finally.”
At the same time, she was responding to an Associated Press report debunking the fake news that she was jailed last month for wearing a bloodied Trump Halloween mask while walking around in New York City.
While Griffin won’t be punished to the fullest extent of the law, her career was sentenced to death. She was fired by CNN from her annual hosting gig of their New Year’s Eve broadcast, lost an endorsement deal, and had multiple comedy shows cancelled. In the fallout of the incident, she claimed that Trump “broke” her and believed she won’t have a career because of it.
