London Mayor Levels 10-Year-Old Japanese Kid During Rugby Game
Eccentric London Mayor Boris Johnson took a friendly game of rugby in Japan a bit too far Wednesday, plowing over a small child that was preventing him from scoring.
Sky News caught video of the incident, which took place at an event celebrating Japan’s 2019 hosting of the Rugby World Cup.

The student in question, Toki Sekiguchi, said afterward he “felt a little bit of pain” but enjoyed himself. Johnson said he felt horrible about “flattening” the child, but added, “that is what rugby is like.”
If this all sounds somewhat familiar, that’s because exactly a year ago Johnson tripped a nine-year-old boy during a friendly soccer match and responded, “Oh shit, sorry.”
