Mark Levin Indicts ‘Would-Be King Barack Obama’ in Fiery CPAC Speech
Conservative radio host Mark Levin jumpstarted CPAC’s Saturday morning with an early speech prosecuting “repeated injuries and usurpations of this president, the would-be king, Barack Obama.” Levin ran through the now-familiar conservative litany of Obama’s crimes, ranging from trouncing over the separation of powers to poisoning the Senate’s nomination process.
“May I add, we are not a nation of immigration, we are a nation of citizens,” Levin did in fact add. “I am sick and tired of the American citizen being demeaned and treated a second-class citizen, while anybody who crosses the border is treated as the most virtuous on the face of the earth.”
Levin also reserved criticism for the Republican establishment, which he regularly chastises for insufficient conservatism. “We are here not because we’re Republicans,” Levin said. “In fact many of us here in spite of that fact.”
