Michael Moore’s New Documentary Calls Trump the ‘Last President of the United States’

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore is working on a new Donald Trump documentary that calls the president the last democratically-elected leader America will ever have.
Moore released his first trailer for Fahrenheit 11/9 on Thursday, and it asks viewers a very direct question:
“How the f*ck did this happen?”
The ensuing voiceover goes on to pronounce Trump “the last president of the United States.”
Fahrenheit 11/9 is expected to be a pseudo-sequel to Fahrenheit 9/11, the popular Moore documentary that examined the impact of George W. Bush presidency’s on the world. In that same vein, Moore’s new project is bound to explore what America has become under Trump, as well as the possible connotations his administration will have for the country’s future.
In terms of calling Trump America’s last president, Moore recently spoke to HuffPost about the film, and he said Trump “has no intention of leaving the White House.” He added that Trump has become enamored with the idea of lifetime autocrats in other countries, and the Republican Party will remain “obedient” to him and do everything they can to preserve his power.
“American journalism schools have not trained students how to cover an authoritarian leader. Our media has no idea what it is up against. They’re getting steamrolled by a tyrant because Trump understands media and understands the country he lives in more than those that cover him do. This puts us all in grave danger. If nothing else, I hope this film exposes that grave danger and shows people the way out.”
The film will feature cameos from Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg, House candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and former Trump advisor Roger Stone. Rick Snyder might also make an appearance since Moore previewed a clip of himself spraying lead-contaminated water from Flint, Michigan on the governor’s front lawn.
