MSNBC’s Chris Hayes Deletes Tweet Falsely Accusing Trump of Deleting Embarrassing Tweets
Somewhat ironically, MSNBC host Chris Hayes deleted a tweet Tuesday that falsely accused Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump of deleting his own embarrassing tweets.
During Monday night’s debate, Hillary Clinton noted that Donald Trump once claimed that climate change wasn’t real and was a secret Chinese conspiracy. Trump denied that he had every done so, despite the fact that he most certainly had.
At some point, a hoax image began to spread on Twitter showing that Trump had deleted his tweet from years earlier.

Hayes evidently saw the image and mocked Trump.

But again, it was all a hoax. Trump’s tweets are still up in their full, embarrassing glory.
The concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing non-competitive.

Hayes has since deleted his tweet. However, other journalists and liberals haven’t gotten the memo. Comedian Patton Oswalt even got called out on his mistake, but doubled down.
Oh my God. Trump’s campaign is furiously deleting his Tweets from back in his timeline. Holy shit. #WinstonSmith #Debates2016
