MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell Swipes at CNN Over Santorum Remarks: ‘They Proudly Tweet It’

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell took a not-so-veiled swipe at CNN today over comments made by Rick Santorum on State of the Union.
If you haven’t heard yet, Santorum suggested this morning that instead of protesting and calling on lawmakers to act, Parkland students could take action on their own by “taking CPR classes” or something.
Santorum got a lot of criticism on Twitter today for those comments, but O’Donnell in particular called out CNN after they tweeted a link to a piece on their website about it:
Former GOP Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum: Instead of calling for gun laws, kids should take CPR classes https://t.co/Ajy4tLauTV pic.twitter.com/K7ovVqIpUU

CNN pays Santorum to say these things. Why? https://t.co/4HEyJ7m26b

Most news organizations would be horrified that someone on their payroll said this. Not CNN. They proudly tweet it. https://t.co/4HEyJ7m26b
