Newt, Trump, Cruz, and More Heap Praise on Palin for Her 50th Birthday
The parade of conservatives who came out to wish former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin a happy 50th birthday on Monday reads like a who’s who in the conservative movement of the past 15 years. Conservative icons ranging from Newt Gingrich, Condoleezza Rice, to Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX), to Duck Dynasty stars stars Phil and Si Robertson joined a cavalcade of personalities wishing Palin all the best after a half-century.
“Sarah, you’ve been a real hero to many Americans,” Gingrich said. “On your birthday, I want to urge you to take a few minutes off and realize how many friends you have all across America.”
“You’re a spectacular woman with a fantastic husband and family,” Donald Trump said.
“You don’t look a day over 40,” Phil Robertson quipped.
“Your unwavering courage and commitment to America is inspiring,” Cruz added. “You are a warrior and I couldn’t be more proud to stand beside you.”
The video features National Rifle Association member and Republican National Committee members echoing the happy birthday wishes.
The video was produced by ShePAC, a conservative political action committee with the mission of electing conservative women to political office.
