Oops: Iowa Man Mistakes Black CNN Host for Ben Carson

Well, this must have been awkward: CNN’s Victor Blackwell was accosted by an Iowa local who thought he was presidential candidate Ben Carson.

Blackwell, the host of New Day Weekend, tweeted about the encounter Thursday:

Man just bolted across a Des Moines coffee shop – to shake my hand and say ‘It’s an honor to meet you, Dr. Carson!’ pic.twitter.com/oEHtQAZkmk

Personally, we don’t see much of a resemblance, except that they both have beards.
