San Juan Mayor Lights Up Trump For Defending Puerto Rico Response: ‘OUR LIVES MATTER’

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz absolutely tore into President Donald Trump Thursday morning after the president continued to defend his administration’s response to last year’s deadly hurricane in Puerto Rico.
In a multi-part tweetstorm, the mayor blasted the president for what she deems to be an attempt at bullying on Trump’s part.
“Mr Trump you can try and bully us with your tweets BUT WE KNOW OUR LIVES MATTER,” Yulin Cruz wrote. “You will never take away our self respect. Shame on you!
Mr President no matter how much you try your “true colors” come shining thru. Unfortunately you just can’t help it. You just can’t get it. pic.twitter.com/nWzznCsCag

Simply put: delusional, paranoid, and unhinged from any sense of reality. Trump is so vain he thinks this is about him. NO IT IS NOT. pic.twitter.com/K96H5O3NKM

The mayor’s tweets follow several from the president this morning in which he rejected the recently reported death toll of nearly 3,000.
“3000 people did not die in the two hurricanes that hit Puerto Rico,” Trump wrote. “When I left the Island, AFTER the storm had hit, they had anywhere from 6 to 18 deaths. As time went by it did not go up by much. Then, a long time later, they started to report really large numbers, like 3000.”
