Sarah Palin Appreciates Kathleen Parker’s ‘Admittance’ Via Twitter
On the heels of Kathleen Parker‘s admission/boast that she “led the (media) assassination” of Sarah Palin during the 2008 campaign, the former Alaska governor struck back at Parker, putting another grizzly-sized footprint on the English language in the process. Via her Twitter feed, Palin said “Parker: appreciate your admittance. Now, I’m still standing; Standing by family, faith & flag. Who do u stand by today?”
Malapropisms aside, Palin seems to be taking a rather thinly-veiled shot at fellow gubernatorial resignee, and Parker/Spitzer co-host, Eliot Spitzer. In a bit of further irony, Palin, who resigned in the middle of her first term as Alaska governor, later tweeted an admonition to incoming GOP congressmen: “Don’t get wobbly.”
As it happens, Mediaite founder and NBC Chief Legal Analyst Dan Abrams paid a visit to Parker/Spitzer to discuss the Parker/Palin feud. Parker doubled down on her previous criticisms of Palin, and Abrams blamed at least part of Palin’s media troubles on a “bias for facts.”
