Ted Cruz Throws Shade at NYT Reporter For Dismissing His Reaction to Charlottesville
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) continues to prove he has Twitter game.
In reaction to the violence that took place in Charlottesville, Virginia on Saturday, Cruz called for the Department of Justice to investigate the attack that left one dead and 19 injured as domestic terrorism.
However, not everyone bought his sincerity.
Sorry to be cynical, but most of all Rubio and Ted Cruz to me seem mostly to be doing a tremendous job of posturing for 2020.

This morning, New York Times reporter Eric Lipton tweeted, “Sorry to be cynical, but most of all [Marco] Rubio and Ted Cruz to meet seem mostly to be doing a tremendous job of posturing for 2020.”
And tonight, Cruz reacted.

Ted Cruz earned some Twitter street cred earlier this year when he humiliated Deadspin over a simple joke. He also took on CNN for adding some commentary to his “so-called” health care amendment.
