Nugent Tells Alex Jones Why Soldiers Commit Suicide: Because Obama 'Violates Constitution'

Ted Nugent appeared on Alex Jones‘ radio show this week and shared his theory on the “heartbreaking” “epidemic” of suicide in the U.S. military. According to Nugent, the reason why U.S. soldiers are taking their own lives in increasingly large numbers is their “frustration” over the fact that “groomed America hater” President Obama “violates the Constitution.”

“I’m sure the leftist blogs are going to attack me, misquote me,” Nugent said, “but I’ll tell you why more and more warrior heroes of the military are killing themselves.” He then delivered these exact words:

“Because they are in absolute frustration and heartbreak that their boss, their Commander-In-Chief violates the Constitution that he has made an oath to while their hero warrior blood brothers are being blown to smithereens and blown up while executing their oath to the same Constitution that the president, the vice president, and the attorney general violate. There is a heartbreak in the warrior community.”

After a break, Nugent conceded that no one can say “conclusively” why the military suicide rate hit an all-time high in 2012, but by speaking to the service members who attend his concerts, this is the conclusion he has drawn. He urged listeners of The Alex Jones Show to visit VA home and tell the soldiers there, “Yes, the leaders of our nation are corrupt, but we the people dearly appreciate and thank them.”
