Todd Starnes: Anti-Confederate Flag Crowd Doing ‘Cultural Cleansing’… Just Like ISIS

The immediate post-Charleston shooting fervor to expunge Confederate symbols from government grounds has created lots of conservative concerns about a slippery slope. And while you can make a reasonable argument that the efforts come across as bullying and/or intolerance, some on the right have taken that slippery slope to some pretty extreme places.

Well, today, Fox News’ Todd Starnes compared the “full-fledged cultural cleansing of the Southern states is underway” to the actions of ISIS.

“You know who else has been doing some cultural cleansing these days?” Starnes asked. “These guys. The Islamic State, bulldozing their way through history. Turning Iraq’s heritage into rubble. And mark my words, the left’s cultural crusade will not stop with the Confederate flag.”
