Tom Brady Cuts Interview Short Over Host Calling His Daughter An ‘Annoying Little Pissant’
Patriots quarterback Tom Brady probably hoped his Super Bowl week would have a better start than this.
Last week, WEEI host Alex Reimer, when discussing a segment of the new Brady-focused docu-series “Tom vs. Time,” called Brady’s five-year-old daughter, Vivian Lake Brady, an “annoying little pissant.”
Brady has a weekly Monday segment with The Kirk and Callahan Show on the same station and cut his interview short over the remarks.
“I’ve tried to come on this show for many years and have showed you guys a lot of respect. I’ve always tried to come on and do a good job for you guys, so it’s very disappointing when you hear that… my daughter or any child, they certainly don’t deserve that,” Brady said.
“I’ll obviously evaluate whether I want to come on this show again, so I really don’t have much to say this morning…. Maybe I’ll speak with you guys some other time,” he concluded.
Per WEEI, “Reimer was informed last Friday he was being handed an indefinite suspension by WEEI, effective immediately.”
