Trump Baffles Reporters With Cryptic Tweet About ‘Shutdown Money’ For Wall: ‘What is He Talking About?’
President Donald Trump‘s tweets are often oddly phrased or even (deliberately?) misspelled, but today’s tweet about “shutdown money” seems to have gone a step further than usual on the wtf scale, and reporters and politicos are having trouble sorting it out.
“The Wall is different than the 25 Billion Dollars in Border Security,” Trump wrote. “The complete Wall will be built with the Shutdown money plus funds already in hand. The reporting has been inaccurate on the point. The problem is, without the Wall, much of the rest of Dollars are wasted!”
